Abstract: The present invention relates to an integrated switch coupled to a parking brake and Transmission Gear Shift (TGS) lever in a vehicle. In particular, the present invention relates to an integrated switch that sends a unified signal to the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) of the vehicle to activate the engine only when both initialization conditions are satisfied, i.e., the TGS lever is in a neutral position and parking brake is fully engaged or in 7th teeth engagement.
