Abstract: INTEGRATED RECYCLING AND POWDER PRODUCTION SYSTEM FOR METAL ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING Abstract An integrated recycling and powder production system and associated processing method are disclosed for converting post-industrial machining metal scrap directly into premium, additive manufacturing-grade metal feedstock within a compact, localized workshop envelope. The system comprises an integrated preparation chamber for crushing and centrifugally decontaminating raw metal chips; a sealed induction melting chamber featuring a controlled inert-gas atmosphere to suppress oxidation and slag formation; a precisely calibrated 3.55 mm graphite nozzle orifice configured to release a stable, gravity-driven molten metal stream; a high-frequency ultrasonic atomization chamber housing a titanium-alloy sonotrode precisely tuned to maintain structural half-wavelength longitudinal resonance at 50 kHz to disintegrate the stream into an ultra-fine mist of liquid droplets; and an automated powder collection unit that vacuum-grades the rapidly solidified, highly spherical metal powders into discrete particle size distributions. The invention establishes an efficient, on-demand circular manufacturing framework that reduces material yield loss and significantly lowers powder acquisition costs. (FIG 2a)
