Abstract: An overlay system (202) is provided that includes a storage element and processing circuitry coupled thereto. The storage element stores an executable graph-based model having a plurality of image nodes and a plurality of image action overlay nodes. Each image node represents an image of an external system. The processing circuitry receives a stimulus associated with a first image action to be executed based on a first image and identifies, based on the stimulus, a first image node representing the first image. The processing circuitry determines a first image action overlay node associated with the first image node and executes the first image action using the first image node and the first image action overlay node to generate a second image.
