The left jib portion (110) and the right jib portion (112) are connected to one another via the middle portion (114). The left jib portion (110), the right jib portion and the middle portion (114) defines a holding area (150) configured to support the pipe (10). The present invention also relates to a pipe supporting rack (20) comprising at least one fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) saddle shaped device (100).
