Abstract: ABSTRACT “CONTEXT-AWARE IMAGE ENHANCEMENT BY AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE” Embodiments herein provide to method for enhancing an image captured at a high zoom level using an electronic device (401). The electronic device (401) receives an input image (501) including human face captured at a defined zoom level. The pre-trained RoI fine semantic model (502) generates semantic facial map for the input image (501) and the face restoration and beautification model (503) enhance facial region based on the output received from semantic model. The context aware enhancement model (505) generates a globally enhanced input image using feature from the facially enhanced input image and the semantic global context map. The face confidence score evaluator (506) determines face confidence score for each facial feature of the facially enhanced image and the globally enhanced image and generates an output image (509) by integrating the facially enhanced input image (501) and globally enhanced input image in relation to the estimated face confidence scores.
