The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT “Bamboo Axial Compression Elasticity Testing Apparatus” The present invention discloses a mechanical testing apparatus (100) for determining the modulus of elasticity of bamboo specimen under axial compressive loading. The apparatus (100) comprises rigid structural frame with base reference (08) and vertical guide columns. Upper and lower circular ring frames (03) are supported by the structural frame around vertical loading axis. Upper and lower gripping assemblies (09) are carried by ring frames (03), each having arc-shaped grips (02) with criss-cross grooving to engage bamboo specimen. A screw tightening system (04) applies radial clamping pressure through the gripping assemblies (09) and maintains the specimen along the vertical loading axis. A slider system (05) mechanically couples to at least one ring frame (03), and vertically grooved guide rail (06) guides slider system (05) along linear vertical path while restraining rotation and lateral drift. At least one axially oriented displacement sensor (01) mechanically couples with ring frames (03) to measure axial-deformation during compressive-loading. FIG. 4
