Abstract: Abstract An artificial intelligence-based framework is disclosed for predicting, evaluating, and optimizing multi-element alloy compositions engineered specifically for high-efficiency solid-state hydrogen absorption, desorption, and storage applications. The computational framework integrates data acquisition, adaptive preprocessing, and a specialized feature extraction module that computes advanced crystallographic and atomistic material descriptors, including atomic size mismatches, valence electron concentrations, and hydride formation enthalpies. An ensemble machine learning prediction engine containing parallelized neural network and boosting topologies evaluates these descriptors to precisely project multi-variable hydrogen performance matrices, including gravimetric storage capacity, kinetic reaction curves, and cyclic degradation patterns. A multi-objective optimization module iteratively perturbs alloy composition spaces using evolutionary algorithms coupled to a physics-backed thermodynamic integration module to autonomously isolate and recommend synthesizeable, high-performance alloy formulations with enhanced operational capacities, vastly accelerating materials discovery for clean energy applications.
