MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621046711 A) filed by Sandipkumar Prabhu Bramhankar on April 11, 2026, for “artificial Intelligence Based -Statiolevel Nrailway Traffic Intelligence, Predictive Route Management, Speed Compliance Monitoring And Digital Coordination System.
Inventor includes Sandipkumar Prabhu Bramhankar.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The present invention provides a station-level railway traffic intelligence and control system configured to enhance railway operations through predictive and real-time monitoring capabilities. The system integrates train-mounted GPS and IoT-enabled data sources with a centralized railway intelligence server to process train position, speed and direction information. A predictive traffic engine identifies approaching trains within a predefined distance, while a speed monitoring and compliance module detects speed violations within the station control jurisdiction, including temporary restrictions. An artificial intelligence-based route recommendation engine assists in optimal route allocation based on train priority, direction and predicted arrival sequence. The system further includes a visualization module and a station control dashboard that present unified information on track layout, route occupancy, incoming trains, speed status and alerts. The system operates in manual and automatic modes and enables digital coordination between stations along with remote monitoring through mobile interfaces, thereby improving safety, efficiency and decision-making in railway operations.
