Abstract: ABSTRACT “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) OR MACHINE LEARNING (ML) BASED HANDOVER IN CELLULAR NETWORK” The embodiment herein discloses a method of handover using AI/ ML in a cellular network (1000) by a UE (100). The method includes receiving an AI/ML model configuration from a source cell (200). The method includes predicting a measurement event and a plurality of parameters associated with the measurement event using an AI/ML model based on the AI/ML model configuration. The plurality of parameters includes at least one of: time window of an occurrence of the measurement event, indication of at least one neighbour cell identity associated with the measurement event, an order of preference of the neighbour cell identities, reliability probability of time window, and reliability probability of the order of preference of the neighbour cell identity. Further, the method includes generating measurement report comprising the plurality of parameters associated with the measurement event. Further, the method includes transmitting the report to the source cell. FIGS. 6
