The apparatus comprises a housing enclosing a microcontroller, a buckle sensing unit, a lanyard sensing unit, a wireless communication module, and an alert generation unit. The buckle sensing unit utilizes reed switch-based detection to determine fastening and alignment status of harness buckles, while the lanyard sensing unit employs capacitance-based sensing to detect whether a safety lanyard is properly attached to an external anchor point. The microcontroller continuously acquires sensor data and evaluates compliance conditions. Upon detection of unsafe conditions including unfastened buckles or lanyard detachment, the apparatus generates local alerts through an audible buzzer and transmits violation data to a remote monitoring portal via wireless communication. During compliant operation, the system logs safety status data to a remote server. The invention enhances workplace safety by enabling continuous monitoring, immediate violation detection, and remote safety supervision.
