Abstract: Abstract The present invention discloses an integrated cyber-physical system and method for predictive maintenance and health monitoring of multi-domain industrial assets within an Industry 4.0 framework. The architecture combines physics-based structural modeling with decentralized digital computing to deliver accurate anomaly isolation and remaining useful life (RUL) estimation. A digital twin framework executes a deterministic Bond Graph modeling layer that maps energy transitions across coupled mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and thermal regimes using a unified system of effort and flow variables to generate dynamic nominal state equations. Telemetry from an array of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) sensors is continuously compared against the Bond Graph model outputs to generate analytical residual signals. Localized edge computing nodes process the residuals to execute low-latency emergency controls, while a cloud-hosted artificial intelligence module leverages machine learning to track residual degradation trajectories, classify faults, and forecast component RUL to automate prescriptive maintenance actions.
