MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621041827 A) filed by Archanasingh Rajput; and Sanjay Lalchandsingh Rajput on April 01, 2026, for “an Equipment For Magnetic Compression Anastomosis For Gastro-Jejunostomy, Esophageal Stricture, Intestinal Stricture, Bariatric Procedures”.
Inventors include Archanasingh Rajput; and Sanjay Lalchandsingh Rajput.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT “AN EQUIPMENT FOR MAGNETIC COMPRESSION ANASTOMOSIS FOR GASTRO-JEJUNOSTOMY, ESOPHAGEAL STRICTURE, INTESTINAL STRICTURE, BARIATRIC PROCEDURES” An equipment for magnetic compression anastomosis for Gastro-jejunostomy esophageal stricture, intestinal stricture and bariatric and metabolic procedures is disclosed. The equipment comprises a pair of magnets (10), each with a central aperture (12) for a guide wire (18) and peripheral apertures (14), mounted at the distal and proximal ends of a wire-guided detachable tube (16). Attachment means (20) secure the magnets (10) to the tube (16), while a detachable locking mechanism (22) at the proximal end permits controlled release. The guide wire (18) enables endoscopic and fluoroscopic alignment of the magnets (10) across the gastric and jejunal walls, so that magnetic compression forms a natural fistula and anastomosis, after which the magnets (10) are retrieved endoscopically or pass of their own. The equipment is minimally invasive, avoids prolonged surgery, and is adaptable to complex anatomy, being usable for gastro-jejunostomy, esophageal stricture, gastro-intestinal strictures and bariatric and metabolic procedures.
