Abstract: ABSTRACT “AN AUTOMATIC SELF-BALANCING VERTICAL CAROUSEL APPARATUS FOR CENTRIFUGAL DRYING AND SECURE STORAGE OF UMBRELLAS” An automatic self-balancing vertical carousel apparatus for centrifugal dewatering, secure retention, and hygienic moisture management of umbrellas is disclosed. The apparatus comprises an upright housing containing a motor-driven vertical carousel with a plurality of umbrella holding stations equipped with electromechanical locks and stabilization elements. A dynamic balancing ring is integrated into the carousel to automatically counteract mass imbalances during asymmetric loading. High-speed rotation expels water centrifugally into a surrounding stationary funnel, which directs runoff through a debris filter and a UV-C sterilization chamber into a storage reservoir. An electronic controller coordinates user authentication, locking, rotational speed, fluid treatment, and safety interlocks, providing a secure, energy-efficient, and hygienic umbrella storage and drying solution for public facilities.
