Abstract: The present invention relates to an assistive communication system and method for visually impaired users is disclosed, enabling non- visual creation and management of digital messages through tactile and voice interaction. The system comprises an embedded terminal with a tactile input interface for receiving timing-based input sequences, a processing unit for decoding the inputs into message data and instructions, and a feedback interface for providing audible and/or haptic responses. The embedded terminal communicates wirelessly with a mobile gateway device having speech-processing and dialogue-management capabilities for message operations, and a cloud-based repository for message storage and retrieval. The invention facilitates accessible, multimodal communication without reliance on visual interfaces, enhancing independence and usability for visually impaired users. Fig 1 to 3.
