Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-assisted context-aware smart classroom automation system and method are disclosed for optimizing classroom comfort and energy efficiency. The system integrates a camera-based student detection module using computer vision to capture real-time occupancy, a timetable processing module employing optical character recognition to extract academic schedule data, and an environmental sensing module to monitor ambient conditions such as temperature and noise levels. An AI processing engine combines these inputs to generate contextual classroom data, which is used by a comfort and prediction module to compute a real-time comfort score and forecast future classroom conditions. Based on these insights, a decision and control module autonomously regulates classroom devices, including lighting, fans, and air-conditioning systems. The system dynamically adapts to occupancy, scheduled activities, and environmental changes, thereby enhancing user comfort while minimizing energy consumption. Fig 1 to 8.
