MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641086441 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology on July 15, 2026, for “an Adaptiv-E Timreae Ldigital Transaction Fraud Control Syste M”.

Inventors include Dr. J. Vijayashree; and S. Sharvesh.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an adaptive real-time digital transaction fraud control system and method for detecting and preventing fraudulent financial transactions through dual-channel risk arbitration. The system comprises a transaction monitoring module configured to acquire transaction context data including transaction amount, frequency, merchant information, geolocation attributes, device metadata, and historical transaction patterns, and a behavioral analytics module configured to capture user interaction signals including keystroke dynamics, navigation behavior, click cadence, session continuity, and device interaction characteristics. A transactional risk assessment engine generates a transactional risk score, while a behavioral risk assessment engine generates a behavioral deviation score. A dual-channel risk arbitration engine dynamically correlates and confidence-weights the independently generated scores to determine a composite fraud risk score based on channel reliability, behavioral stability, environmental context, and cross-channel consistency. A fraud response orchestration module autonomously initiates transaction approval, step-up authentication, transaction delay, escalation, suspension, or blocking through direct interaction with a transaction authorization infrastructure. An adaptive learning controller continuously updates analytical models and arbitration thresholds using feedback derived from confirmed transaction outcomes. The invention improves fraud detection accuracy, reduces false positives, enhances explainability, and provides real-time control over digital transaction execution. Fig 1 to 5.
