Abstract: The present invention relates to an advanced dust-attracting broom attachment designed to improve the cleaning efficiency of conventional brooms by enabling simultaneous collection of coarse debris and fine particulate matter during sweeping operations. The attachment comprises a detachable base frame configured to be mounted on a broom head, a dust-attracting layer formed from electrostatic microfiber material, triboelectric polymer mesh, or a combination thereof, and one or more fastening mechanisms for secure attachment. The dust-attracting layer is positioned adjacent to the broom bristles and is adapted to attract and retain fine dust, lint, hair, pollen, and other lightweight particles that would otherwise become airborne during sweeping. In certain embodiments, the attachment further includes magnetic elements for attracting and collecting ferromagnetic particles in industrial environments. The attachment is lightweight, washable, reusable, and compatible with a wide variety of broom designs. By combining conventional sweeping with electrostatic and/or magnetic particle collection, the invention reduces dust dispersion, improves indoor air quality, enhances cleaning effectiveness, and provides a cost-effective and environmentally sustainable alternative to electrically powered cleaning systems. The invention is suitable for household, commercial, healthcare, educational, and industrial cleaning applications.
