Abstract: A VEHICLE WITH A PNEUMATIC SYSTEM. The disclosure herein relates to a vehicle (100) with a pneumatic system (120), and a method (200) of operating the vehicle thereof. The vehicle (100) includes a first clutch (108) connected to a power transmitting member (106) and a compressor (122), a second clutch (110) connected to the power transmitting member and a power transmission unit (112), and a vehicle control unit (140) configured to selectively operate the vehicle in any one of a plurality of operating modes based on operating condition of the vehicle, and control operation of first and second clutches based on the operating mode to selectively allow power transfer to a drivetrain and compressor. Stored compressed air is utilized for thermal management and cleaning of vehicle’s components.
