Abstract: The present invention discloses a system (100) for beneficiation of flotation tailings (12) and a method thereof. The system (100) includes a mixer drum (10) structured to receive washery effluents (32) having a mixture of the flotation tailings (12) and flocculants (11), surfactants. The mixer drum (10) is configured to mix the washery effluents (32) and the surfactants to obtain to a slurry (13). Further, the system includes a static mixer (20). One end of the static mixer (20) being connected to an outlet of the mixer drum (10) to receive the slurry (13) from the mixer drum (10) and another end of the static mixer (20) being fluidly connected to an inlet of the mixer drum (10) to discharge the slurry (13) therefrom. The static mixer (20) is configured to induce shear to the slurry (13) flowing therethrough to obtain clean coal. FIG. 1
