Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and method for measuring economic return of agricultural policy interventions using causal machine learning. The system comprises a data acquisition module, preprocessing engine, causal estimation engine, return-on-investment computation module, machine learning operations framework, and stakeholder interface. Agricultural, economic, environmental, and intervention-related datasets are collected and processed to generate longitudinal panel datasets. A fixed-effects regression-based causal estimation engine computes Average Treatment Effects and other intervention impact metrics while controlling for confounding variables. The system further calculates return-on-investment, net economic benefits, productivity improvements, and policy effectiveness indicators. Analytical outputs are delivered through application programming interfaces, dashboards, and automated reports.
