Abstract: The present invention relates to cultural heritage preservation, digital archaeology, three-dimensional imaging, and digital archival systems. The invention discloses a system and method for digitizing historical artifacts through stable artifact positioning, multi-angle image acquisition, depth sensing, surface texture capture, lighting calibration, data preprocessing, and three-dimensional reconstruction. The system generates a three-dimensional digital model of an artifact and links the model with metadata relating to period, origin, material, location, and cultural significance. A condition analysis module identifies deterioration indicators including cracks, erosion, damage, fading, and surface irregularities. A digital preservation repository stores the model, metadata, and reports, while a visualization and access module enables authorized users to view, rotate, zoom, measure, and retrieve the preserved artifact record. The invention supports museums, researchers, conservators, students, archives, and heritage institutions in accurate and long- term digital preservation of historical artifacts.
