MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531031037 A) filed by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited on March 29, 2025, for “a System And A Method For Batch Consolidation Of Winding Bars”.

Inventors include Ranjeet Kumar; Rahul Kumar Gupta; Balindra Singh; and Gagan Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: A SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR BATCH CONSOLIDATION OF WINDING BARS 5 The present invention relates to a system (100) and a method (200) for batch consolidation of winding bars. The system (100) comprises of a hydraulic press (3) applying controlled pressure, temperature, and duration to the bars (1), a press plank (10) with pressing plates (5) to maintain separation between the bars, side plates (6, 7) for lateral support, and a T-pressing block (4) to evenly distribute pressure. A 10 control system adjusts the temperature, pressure, and duration for accurate consolidation. It also includes sensors to monitor real-time parameters such as temperature, pressure, and displacement, ensuring precision and consistency. Additionally, a cooling mechanism prevents thermal stresses and cracking in the insulation material. The system (100) and method (200) offer improved efficiency 15 by consolidating multiple winding bars (1) simultaneously, ensuring uniform compression with pressing plates (5), precise temperature and pressure control via the hydraulic press (3), and minimizing thermal stresses with cooling mechanisms.
