Abstract: The present invention relates to a polyherbal wound healing composition and a method for preparation thereof. The composition comprises coconut water (Cocos nucifera), turmeric (Curcuma longa), black pepper (Piper nigrum), and black cumin (Nigella sativa) in synergistically effective proportions for promoting wound repair and tissue regeneration. The composition contains bioactive constituents including dihydroxyacetone, 2-hydroxy-gamma-butyrolactone, decanoic acid methyl ester, and 11,14-eicosadienoic acid methyl ester, which contribute to anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant, extracellular matrix remodeling, and re- epithelialization activities. Molecular docking studies demonstrate favorable interactions of the bioactive constituents with transforming growth factor-beta induced protein and matrix metalloproteinase-9, indicating their role in collagen synthesis, tissue regeneration, and regulation of wound healing pathways. The method comprises boiling coconut water, incorporating turmeric, black pepper, and black cumin under controlled mixing conditions, followed by cooling and storage. The composition is useful for treating acute wounds, chronic wounds, burns, diabetic ulcers, skin lesions,[ and other tissue injuries while providing a safe and economical herbal alternative to conventional wound-healing formulations.
