Abstract: The present invention relates to a machine learning-based sales forecasting and strategy optimization system and a process thereof. The system comprises a data acquisition module, preprocessing engine, predictive analytics engine, and strategy optimization engine. Retail transaction data is processed through normalization, encoding, and feature transformation procedures before being analyzed using an Extreme Gradient Boosting model configured to predict future sales volumes. Predicted outputs are supplied to a strategy optimization engine that performs price elasticity simulations across multiple discount scenarios to identify optimal pricing thresholds associated with revenue maximization and inventory efficiency. The generated recommendations are communicated to enterprise systems, e-commerce platforms, point-of-sale infrastructure, and electronic shelf label systems. The invention provides an integrated predictive and prescriptive analytics framework for improving forecasting accuracy, pricing decisions, inventory utilization, and operational efficiency.
