Abstract: ABSTRACT “A DISTRIBUTED SECURITY SYSTEM FOR IOT NETWORKS AND A METHOD THEREOF” The present invention relates to a distributed security system for IoT networks and a method thereof, wherein each device maintains an independent security boundary through generation of ephemeral trust tokens. The system employs a decentralized peer-to-peer validation mechanism that enables devices to verify each other’s behavior using co-bnasedsens udsecision making. The framework incorporates hardware attestation, behavioral analysis, and contextual validation to ensure dynamic trust evaluation. Access control is achieved using capabilities that offer restricted and time-limited access rights for certain functions. Moreover, there exists an adaptive threat response protocol that enables automatic anomaly detection and device isolation without central command. This invention presents a robust and flexible security architecture that is efficient in IoT systems with constrained resources and can operate even in offline mode.
