Abstract: “Multi-Teacher Knowledge Distillation Framework for Graph-Based Class-Incremental Learning” The present invention provides a method for constructing and updating a temporally-aware knowledge graph representing user behavior by an electronic device (101). The method includes receiving multi-modal user data from a source associated with a user. The method further includes generating, by a teacher model, a plurality of respective representations from the multi-modal user data. The method further includes combining, by a student model (310), the respective representations to generate a unified representation. The method further includes preserving long-term structural knowledge and semantic knowledge and capturing short-term contextual changes associated with user behavior. The method further includes detecting changes in user behavior based on statistics associated with the multi-modal user data. The method further includes adjusting an update policy associated with the student model (310) and the temporally-aware knowledge graph. The method further includes updating the temporally-aware knowledge graph and generating identity nodes representing higher-order user attributes for personalization across applications and devices.
