MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421011127 A) filed by Navinta Llc, New Jersey, U.S.A., on Feb. 17, 2024, for 'novel crystalline polymorphic form of lurbinectedin.'

Inventor(s) include Mande Hemant Malhari; Parmar Pankaj Vasudev; and Zambare Varun Lalit.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A novel polymorphic forms are provided for lurbinectedin, which are novel crystalline lurbinectedin form AN1 and novel crystalline lurbinectedin form AN2 and also provided the processes for producing the same. The novel crystalline lurbinectedin polymorphic form AN1 and AN2 are stable at 2-8 C."
