MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547079805 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on Aug. 22, for 'method for transmitting random access report, and communication apparatus.'

Inventor(s) include Wang, Fanfan; Geng, Tingting; Chen, Jun; and Zhang, Hongzhuo.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present application are a method for transmitting a random access report, and a communication apparatus. A terminal can record a random access report of a secondary base station (or a secondary cell group) by means of a container, and indicate, to a primary base station, an identifier of a primary secondary cell corresponding to the container while sending the container to the primary base station, such that the primary base station can forward the container to a corresponding secondary base station without parsing the container, wherein one container may include one random access report, all random access reports that can be recorded by the terminal, or one or more random access reports for one primary secondary cell."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 07, 2024, under International application No.PCT/CN2024/076541.
