MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517080876 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on Aug. 26, for 'measurement method and communication apparatus.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application provides a measurement method and a communication apparatus. The method can be applied to a communication system such as NR, LTE, and V2X, and the method comprises: a terminal device receives one or more measurement signals, the one or more measurement signals including a measurement signal 1; and the terminal device sends one or more measurement reports to a network device by means of a physical uplink control channel and/or a physical uplink shared channel, the one or more measurement reports including the measurement report 1. The measurement report 1 comprises information obtained by performing cross-link interference measurement according to the measurement signal 1. The reporting type of the measurement report 1 includes aperiodic reporting or semi-persistent reporting. In this way, the terminal device can more flexibly and quickly report the measurement report about the cross-link interference measurement to the network device, and can support the network device to obtain changes in the cross-link interference between terminal devices more quickly."
