Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Generating And/Or Displaying Virtual Interactions With Virtual Objects' Filed by Qualcomm Incorporated

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547079807 A) filed by Qualcomm Incorporated, San Diego, on Aug. 22, for 'generating and/or displaying virtual interactions with virtual objects.'

Inventor(s) include Vizeu Oliveira Lana; Gaidon Laurent Ghislain; Rivalland Ludovic; and Aubree Lois Corentin.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Systems and techniques are described herein for displaying one or more virtual objects. For instance, a method for displaying one or more virtual objects is provided. The method may include obtaining hand-pose data indicative of a pose of a hand; obtaining virtual-object data indicative of a virtual object with which the hand is virtually interacting; and displaying a virtual hand interacting with the virtual object, the virtual hand exhibiting a virtual-hand pose based on the pose of the hand and the virtual-object data."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 05, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/018561.
