MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202431016257 A) filed by Metal & Steel Factory, Ishapore, West Bengal, on March 7, 2024, for 'development of 1000 kg. aerial bomb body using seamless pipe and thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Shri Lilamoy Roy; Shri C. Mahanand; and Shri Susanta Mondal.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to the manufacturing process of 1000 Kg. Aerial Bomb using seamless pipe for Air Force using forging, machining process, and more precisely, it discloses the process address optimizing & regulating/configuring a process for manufacture the above referred Bomb Body taking into consideration of its high caliber coupled with precision guidance kits give the capability to undertake precision strikes."
