MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517080874 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on Aug. 26, for 'communication method and communication apparatus.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application relates to the technical field of communications. Provided are a communication method and a communication apparatus. The present application can be applied to the migration of a DU in an IAB network. The method comprises: generating first information, wherein the first information is used for instructing a third CU to request, from a second CU, for downlink configuration information for F1 interface transmission, there is an RRC connection between the second CU and an MT of a relay node, and the third CU is a target host CU of a DU of the relay node; and sending the first information to the third CU. In the embodiments of the present application, first information is sent to a third CU, such that the third CU obtains downlink configuration information for F1 interface transmission, and then an F1 interface between the third CU and a DU of a relay node is established."
