MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517080856 A) filed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Aug. 26, for 'clutch control device.'

Inventor(s) include Ono Junya; Fujimoto Yasushi; Kano Junichiro; Kudo Takashi; and Tsuzuki Ryohei.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A clutch control device (50) comprises a release shaft (53) that transmits, to a clutch device (40), input from a clutch actuator (60) and/or a clutch operation element. The release shaft (53) has: a first release shaft (55) that receives an operation force by a driver and rotates; a second release shaft (57) that receives input from the clutch actuator (60) and rotates; and a third release shaft (56) that has an engagement part (56a) which overlaps the first release shaft (55) and the second release shaft (57) in the axial direction and faces the same in the circumferential direction, and which rotates and operates the clutch device (40) when the engagement part (56a) separately receives rotation of the first release shaft (55) and rotation of the second release shaft (57). The clutch control device (50) further comprises a bearing (90) that holds the engagement part (56a)."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 17, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/010589.
