MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010136 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'automated wall insulation installation device.'
Inventor(s) include Rohit Kumar Singh Gautam; and Arun Kumar Pipersenia.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated wall insulation installation device, comprising a body 1 arranged with touch interactive display panel 2 for inputting area to be insulated which is detected by an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3, four motorized wheels 4 for moving body 1, an ultrasonic sensor for monitoring dimensions of wall, a multi-sectioned chamber 5 stored with wooden planks/nails/threaded nails and wool, a pair of robotic arms 6 for gripping and arranging planks on wall, a pair of motorized grippers 7 for positioning nails onto joints of frame, a hammer for thumping nails to fix planks together, a drilling unit 8 dills holes for fixing multiple threaded nails into drilled holes by grippers 7, a cutting blade 10 for cutting a meshed metallic sheet positioned by the arms 6 which is fixed by gripper 7 on frame, a curved shaped member 12 through which an insulation wool is layered on wall."
