MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421010024 A) filed by Hamilton House Ware Pvt. Ltd., Maharashtra, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'an open holder for substantially circular objects.'

Inventor(s) include Viral Dhirajlal Patel; Rishabh Arora; and Ashwini Sahaje.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention is an open holder (2) for substantially circular objects. It comprises of a pair of opposite parallel sides (4,4a), having a free arcuate periphery(8) and an arcuate edge(10). The arcuate edge and arcuate periphery meet at 1st and 2nd common points(12, 12a). The opposite sides are connected at its arcuate edge by a third side (6) . The third side has free second edges(14,14a) ) at either ends . A plurality of ridges (16) along the third side, run parallel to the arcuate edges. The arcuate edge has varying radii and is constituted by an upper arc (18), lower arc (20) and a resting point (21) . The ridges enable circular objects to be displayed in an erect position when placed within the open holder."
