MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010154 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'adaptable wall painting assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Rahul Sharma; and Shri Bhagwan.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable wall painting assistive device, comprises of a L-shaped frame 1 having a first and a second portion 3, a strap 13 attached on frame 1 worn by user in hand portion, a touch interactive display panel 4 accessed by user to select pattern and color in which wall is to be painted, a holographic projector 5 to project virtual image depicting pattern on the wall for guiding the user to move the frame 1 along the projected image, multiple extendable link 7 configured with curved flaps 6 to position the flaps 6 over wall for covering the boundaries of the projected pattern for assisting the user to paint the pattern, a pair of circular rings 8 collected to each other via bars 9 forming rack-like structure 10 and spray bottles 11 stored with different colors to spray user-selected color on pattern as for coloring pattern on wall."
